POP-UP CHILDREN'S BOOK WEEK STORY WALK
A FUN FREE FAMILY EVENT IN THE FLAGSTAFF GARDENS
Sunday August 17
Any time between 9.30am-3.00pm
Suitable for children ages 2-8 (must be accompanied by an adult)
With map in hand, follow the signs and discover a fun story, in the Flagstaff Gardens. The story is one of the 2025 CBCA Book of the Year Awards Picture Book of the Year Notables.
Little surprises for little people along the way!
A StoryWalk® is
- a way for people to get together and enjoy stories in the outdoors with family and friends
- a book to read on storyboards placed along a trail
- fun and engaging as you read and walk at the same time.
Gather with friends and family in the park for a picnic, play on the fabulous playground ... and while you are there, pick up a map and clue sheet at our registration desk near the playground (enter via William Street)
How long will it take? Approx 45 mins (It depends how long you want to spend in the playground.)
