General Information
Event Description
What does it really mean to “combat climate change”? And how do you build a career that makes a positive difference without burning out from the doom-and-gloom?
Climate change is one of the most defining challenges of our time - but the stories we see and hear often leave us feeling overwhelmed, underqualified, or unsure of where we fit in. That’s where The Climate Club comes in.
Similarly to The Breakfast Club, ESN is interested in creating a space where people from different backgrounds, fields and interests can come together, share their stories and connect over shared values.
ABOUT:
This event brings together a diverse panel of professionals from academia, industry, social work, and entrepreneurship, who are each contributing to climate solutions in their own way. Their stories remind us that there’s no single path to impact, and that real change happens across many sectors, skillsets, and careers!
You’ll hear short personal talks from each speaker, discussing their career journey and current work. Following this will be a guided panel discussion and informal networking. This is your chance to step beyond the doom-and-gloom headlines and connect with real people making real positive change.
