A solid foundational understanding of science and the scientific method is an increasingly valuable tool. Whether it be adapting our communities and industries to the changing climate, pursuing a career in a STEMM field, or using critical thinking to review the quality and value of information, building the level of scientific competency in our state is essential for our collective future.

We explore the great differences between the Indigenous and European view of the world. We have a need of Indigenous knowledge to heal our nation in many ways – to help counter the impact of climate change; to rescue our environment, both vegetation and wildlife; and to learn to live sustainably on our continent.
The problems that threaten our planet, how to identify them and how to prevent them. The task feels overwhelming, and it inevitably falls to science to fill the desperate need for evidence-based decision-making
